Volok Games SneakPeak

I worked on this game from 2020 -> 2021 where I was the Lead UI/UX designer; I additionaly consulted in 2023. I laid a foundation for the framework of the User Interface and core system mechanics. When I started there was zero interface features in the project and the player experience was going to be heavily involved in the use of interfaces for customization, level up, multiplayer and game management. Inventory, Weapon and Armor mods, Abilities, Leveling system, Shop, Crafting, Loadout, HUD, Multiplayer selection and rewards, Social, and finally system settings.

The pipeline for this started with extremely basic block out -> prototype -> Design -> High Fidelity Prototype (HFP) -> User testing -> Rework HFP -> More User Testing -> Unity Engine Implementation.

I Owned the design of the interface and experiences from discovery through code. Here are some in game menu's and concepts of the project.

After my departure from the project the CORE of what was designed remained, what changed was the visuals, but the layout design, system mechanics as well as a UI/UX credit in game. I will update with examples.
